A Venue Built From the Ground Up

Moonlit Ridge Estate is a private wedding and event venue about 45 minutes from Portland — a fully restored five-bedroom main house, newlywed and wedding-party suites, pavilion, patio, and caterer's quarters set on a working estate. Envy handled the full earthwork scope to bring the property up to event-venue standard.

Scope included parking lots sized for full-weekend events, demolition of existing structures that didn't fit the new vision, site prep and grading for the new build, septic system installation sized to weekend guest loads, and the underground utilities running across the estate. An event venue has to handle the worst day of the year — a downpour during a Saturday-night reception with 200 guests parked on it. We sized the base and drainage for that, not for a calm afternoon.
